I am really excited to be presenting at InfoSec World 2019 Conference and Expo, April 1-3, at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Lake Buena Vista, FL. My session, “Can You Hear Me Now?: Effective Communications Strategies For Framing Your Cybersecurity Agenda,” held on April 3, 2019 at 10:30 am will share strategies to help Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and other IT managers effectively communicate their intended network data approach to non-tech focused executives to help them understand the WHY and HOW so they will become champions for the execution of your team’s network security implementation roadmap.

As a frequent invited speaker to information technology conferences I have discovered that communicating clearly with authority is still an elusive skill for many IT pros across industries. Although Cybersecurity is on the radar of senior executives and boards of directors, there is still not enough budget allocated to truly manage evolving threats. My presentation provides tactics to help position not only cybersecurity as necessary line item, but also tried and true brand strategies to position IT professional as internal authorities focused on long-term strategic organizational goals.
